Venezia Italian Restaurant Bourton in Cheltenham

"We had two fantastic meals here on our recent visit to Bourton on the Water. Food and service were all excellent, and we really appreciated the personal touch from the chef coming out to have a word with the customers and check they were happy with the dishes. If we had stayed longer we would have gone back again!"

"Food are great. Love the mussel n the bread come with it. Lasagna is ok with a little over burnt, squid is a little raw inside, pizza is great. Service is lovely here. Inside ambience is lovely and is a great stopping point for rest n food after the morning breeze there."

"They got us in without a reservation, which was great. The girl with bread was good. It’s actually just a little pizza with garlic sauce instead of pizza sauce the fish dishes were robust and had lots of meat and I was very happy with the vegetables on all. This is a great restaurant to go to I highly recommend asking for a table on the right side of the restaurant. The left side is much less desirable."

"A very nice restaurant right at the heart of the village. The calzone was one of the better ones I had and quite unique with the Bolognese sauce. The staff could've been a bit more attentative and service felt a bit rushed, but they had a queue of people waiting outside. Overall, recommended"

"Had dinner around 5:30pm on Monday. Restaurant didn't have many customers so was able to get a table straight away. I started with the Minestrone Del Giorno, perfect for a cold winter evening. The main course was Lobster & Crab Ravioli (the waiter asked if I wanted parmesan which I did). I especially enjoyed the creamy sauce it came with, it complimented the dish well. After I finished my main, the dessert menu was brought to me, and I ordered the Homemade Banoffee Pie, an excellent way to finish off my meal. In total I spent £46.64. I recommend anyone who's visiting Bourton to dine at this restaurant."

"The best Italian food outside of Italy… 3 meals in 3 days. We just kept going back again, again and again.. I have lived in Italy for some time and have a good sense of Italian cuisine. The Bruschetta Di Napoli and the Funghi con Aglio for the first meal ( lunch). I was not too hungry and the subtle taste, freshness of the ingredients had me completely bowled. The next 2 meals were dinners with my son and the Pizza Etna and the Risotto di Pollo were brilliant, lip smacking, cooked to absolute perfection. The Lemon & Peach Cheesecake was a sweet ballet of sweet and zest in harmony. Today we ate a light dinner, just ordered a Branzzini , Grilled Asparagus. We couldn’t resist ordering the same cheesecake and we also ordered the Tiramisu. No words. Go and try it .."
